I finished the stitching on the top right side today.I will wait until all stitching is complete before attaching any of the seed beads.I started the top left side of design tonight.

new project

I started this project May 26.It's Roly-Poly Santa ornaments. It's a set of three, each is size 4 inches x 5 7/8 inches.These are designed by Barbara Sestok.

On May 26, I decided to put the Japanese project down.Here's the photo of my progress on it.

My new project

This pattern was given to me and I don't know the name of it.The entire picture is stitched I'm doing it on 14 count white aida cloth. It's measurement will be 12x19 inches. I know this one will take quite awhile for me to complete as I alternate between the tablecloth and it.I started this project May 13,2010. It has 135 colors in it.My daughter Misha picked this one out for me.

Mermaid Heaven finished

YEA! I finished my project today It took me 73 days to make it.This has been a very enjoyable chart to stitch.I really like the shadow outlining method.Now to finish my pen pal Carol's tablecloth.

Saturday in the mail I recieved this tablecloth from a pen pal in CA.She started it some time ago and didn't want to finish it. She will be paying me to finish as it was to be a gift to another of her pen pals that she had already completed the matching napkins and sent to her as a gift.

I finished page 8 on Mermaid Heaven including the outlining on the 20th. I've started page 7 now.I can't wait to get it completed and framed.

W I P update

This is my update on March 8 to my Mermaid Heaven. I started on page 4 and completed it in 10 days. This was alot of stitching!

Second Project

I chose this pattern for several reasons.I thought it was so sweet and it's my first time to stitch mermaids.This is a design by Saifhon Borisuthipandit.The pattern suggests 14 count gray aida. I'm using white instead.Finished size is 13.5 x 19.5. I started this project Febuary 26.

My 2010 Endevors

I have such a hard time deciding what project to do. There's so many beautiful patterns to choose from. I enjoy vibrant colors.I finally chose a design by Stoney Creek .I started it on January first.I completed the counted cross stitching February 24.It took me 54 days to stitch it. I did the machine sewing of it March 9.I made this one for me, however I didn't put my name on it.
